German ? Vw Based ? Helmut Hauber  ?

Don't forget - only one question allowed at a time...

Well, It´s been three different topics, so I think the questions were O.K.

If he´d asked for instance:

"Salmson, Pipe or Lambert?" I wouldn´t have accepted it.

It's your puzzle!
One answer should lead to another question though..
e.g. "German?"  "Yes" "VW then?" etc.
Or "German?" "No" "French then?" etc.
Though I do appreciate that on this occasion the fact the car is not German negated the other two questions anyway..

To be honest, I´m a bit impatient and always want my puzzles to be solved, really. ;)

D-type

Fiat 'Topolino' based Siata
Duncan Rollo

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

grobmotorix

The basis car was a Fiat!

I do not know if it was Topolino, but I´m sure it did not use the engine of a Topolino.

And it is not a Siata.

This was not enough correct  information to lock it for you, sorry.

To make it easier, I´ll show you a full front view:

grobmotorix

Too hard for the experts...

barrett

From one of the 'known' etceterini marques?

grobmotorix

The driver/constructor and the racing equipe are not italian.

I think the body isn´t from Italy, too.

RayTheRat

Same question I asked a coupla minutes ago: another Austrian one-off special?

grobmotorix

Yes, but I think, only the chassis is italian, the body has been built in Austria.

faksta

Prasak-Muller Topolino Spezial  :P

I thought we've had it already before, but search shows nothing...

Allemano

Must be a fantastic book where all these cars can be found.

faksta

It is not bad indeed, but it is not complete :)

grobmotorix

Yes, it´s the 550ccm Prazak-Topolino race car!

faksta

So, Prazak indeed. The book listed it as Prasak, but starting lists also say Prazak.

RayTheRat

I couldn't find a date for this car...matter of face, I couldn't find anything at all about it.  Do you have an approximate date of manufacture or racing?

grobmotorix

I´ve found photo references from 1950-1954.

faksta

There was a newspaper note in a book I have said to be dated October 1949, so I think it could have been first raced in 1950.

Also, my bad, previously I've known it as Pracak-Suller, not Prasak-Mueller :P

And here it is, I knew I've seen it here before: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=13294.0

This is the 550ccm PRAZAK-Fiat-Topolino.

I did not find it, because of the different name, of course.

So I´ve made it new puzzle recently:
