Kainz?
No, it was already. All of the above manufacturers appear on the official lists. But that is not there. I found this advertisement in the Austrian press on a well-known website. It is a pity that local historians are not interested.

May be I am not an historian in your eyes, but I am Austrian and interested (...as you may have seen within my replies): Is it "Albl" from Graz?

Fёdor

No, the company is not from Graz

Unfortunately no.
But to speed up the identification process, I will say that the name is the same as that of the famous sports club.

I beg your pardon fromwien, but Oguerrerob guessed too quickly. Yes, it's Rapid

It's the only "Famous Sports Club" that Google showed!

Thanks for the hint!

I'm sorry to disappoint you all a bit. This is only a toy, not a real car!
Heinrich Kertész was a novelty dealer, see some examples below.
The ad says that the Rapid is steerable, and self-moving in circles, very entertaining for young and old. Its price was 1.25 Gulden the piece, 3.30 Gulden for three of them. One Gulden was two Kronen, for which you could buy the horse blanket and get some small change back  :)
Don't worry, that was an amusing puzzle.

Fёdor

Very sorry. Thought one more to the list of Austrian manufacturers. I hope this is not a toy, what is known about it?

Wendax

That seems to be the Helios from Laiblach.

Fёdor

Thank you very much, probably it is.

Now I can lean back and relax again. Have looked through all the books available to me and couldn't find any company, called 'Rapid', that manufactured motor vehicles in Austria...
