Yes, it's a sketch for BMW with BMW-engine

sichel

The vehicle does not appear to have side doors, but a front door. So, based on BMW 600?

The new source has disappointed me a little, still no reference to the drawing. With some searching i came across the type WD 600. In 1957/58 Wolfgang Denzel started its development of a BMW 600 successor with a design on the 600 chassis. Body design from Italy, I think Michelotti. I think that it is a drawing of this model. Afterwards it becomes the BMW 700 with self-supporting body.

Sorry, no connection with Wolfgang Denzel and Michelotti

I knew, you will solve that puzzle! Correct! One more point for you!

sichel

Thanks very much for the point and the highly interesting puzzle. The point was a surprise, I simply launched a trial balloon. The leap from the 507 to the "Big Isetta" is quite big. But my ambition was aroused because my parents had an Isetta and then two 700s. I had my first, semi-legal road trials with this fleet. I add one more drawing.

Carnut

Is that the name "Zetta" written beneath the BMW roundel on the front?

It looks like that too, but I don't have a detailed information.

No, it says Isetta like on the production car. This last drawing was made by Goertz for an Isetta redesign.
