Are you sure it's the modern kit car and not an Ogle-Mini?
They are very similar so can you tell me which details make it an NC1000 please.
I used to own an early Ogle (pre-SX1000)  like this (poor photo taken from a 1970s slide which I can no longer find):

What do the blanked-out badge and numberplate show?

Note that the front indicators are different (rectangular on the puzzle car).
Did all Ogles have round front indicators or was there a variety?

Ogles did use those standard Lucas round lamps - but then on the Nostalgia web site, so does their NC 1000. The photo there (below) also shows side indicator repeater lamps and no front bumper, but as it's a kit car probably no two are alike - well by now no two Ogles will be either, I'd guess.

I am sure it is not a Nostalgia NC1000 but an Ogle SX1000.
It's as much fun to scare as to be scared

Webasto roof and wing mirror might point to it being an Ogle.
But then again they might not...!

Never seen a mirror mounted there on one before.
Webasto roof could have been on an Ogle, but most didn't have 'em as new.
As I said before, after 40-odd years most Ogles won't still be just as they were made - mine wasn't after only 15 years.

Yes.  What I meant was it's a bit of a period mirror, but then you can still buy them for period cars..

However, it would be very unusual for a Webasto roof to be fitted these days, so even if not fitted new it could have been fitted some time ago.   Are they still obtainable?

Webasto roofs are definitely still available, I know someone who had one fitted to a Datsun 280c (ruining a great car, IMHO).
I'd have to agree that the puzzle car looks like an Ogle, it seems to have an old-style tax disc, and the quality of the photo just screams 'mid 80s!' to me.... i'm sure it will be resolved if Del78 posts the un-altered pic up!

barrett

Well, that looks like an Ogle badge to me!
Not on the DVLA as far as I can see though, at least not under 'ogle' or 'mini'

That number is now on a 2009 AUDI TT QUATTRO TFSI S-A, whatever that is.
It is a Hertfordshire number of course, as would be appropriate for Ogle ( in Letchworth, as I am).

And maybe it had an 850cc engine (or 848 to be exact...)?
Think I would put money on it being an Ogle (not much though as I'm not a gambling man!)

This is a Nostalgia NC Coupe, also known as an Ogle SX1275.
Anyone spot any differences between it and the Ogle SX1000?
