For one point, what's the identity of this car?

movin... but only just

ImpishGrin

It's the Superbus - a research and demonstration vehicle being currently made by Technical University Delft and Connexxion.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Correct! Makes that IdeA KAZ prototype look like a minnow!

Would that be the Rex Superbus, Qui Regnabat Surbis?  ???
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

DeAutogids

A guy called "Wubbo Ockels", apparently a former astronaut, had the idea of a Superbus, which is a superfast bus, essentially. Believe it when I see it, though

Surprised that we have not had this one already, but an easy Rookie point on offer to correctly identify this strange vehicle.

Our local dutch pride, the Superbus as proposed by space traveler Wubbo Ockels... a suggested alternative to fast rail transport...
A dream, I suppose

Djetset

I didn't think this one would stay here for too long.  The Superbus is indeed the beast, developed in the Netherlands for Dubai as I understand it!  All very strange!  Well done, you get the point.

It was, as far as I have read the newspapers, not developped for Dubai, but even for use in the Netherlands itself, as a kind of alternative for a high speed train. My understanding goes as far as that they wanted to create special lanes on motorways where this superbus could drive along. A proposed line was Groningen-Amsterdam.
