It is a 1949 A.E.C. Regal Mk.III with a Dutch body by Verheul, used by The Hague plublic transport HTM (Haagse Tramweg Maatschappij).
Destination "Waalsdorpervlakte" is a name with a deep meaning in Holland. Here the nazis shot many members of the underground resistance during WWII, and also some of the top members of the Dutch nazi-party NSB (like Anton Mussert) were shot here, after the liberation. Nowadays there's a monument to commemorate the victims of nazism (national day of mourning the deads of the war is the 4th of May).
