I just had a feeling it wouldn't last 5 mins with the Pros.
Well done PJ

Not sure 'Can-Am/Gr.7' is applicable to a 1962 car...  ??? Even though it has been seemingly modified to run in Gr.7, I suppose it was built for some other category?

Quite honestly I am unclear of the history of this car but hope to post some background soon

all I have:

Hand formed aluminum body.
Space Frame Cooper Monaco style chassis.

I believe the car is now sold but I can add a couple of snippets -
The car was formerly owned and raced by Floyd Sable at Road America, Southport, Donnybrooke and Brainard.
Later raced by Salt Walther.

I'll dig around my library of American CanAm cars of the period to see if I can find more info.
I have a feeling the car was built under another name and I have no idea of the origin of the Mahrya name.

Anyway, another couple of photos (one in period) of the car.

My first idea was a Maria name, just written in a different manner.
