Well after a recent similar case, here's another one: the base model is not difficult enough for a point but whose conversion was it and what's unusual about it.
Carnut, thanks for reduced size version - my own reduced size one didn't seem to post as smaller as it seems number of "pixels" is more important than their density

This one would be a TACR2a 4 door Range Rover conversion by Carmichael

When the official four door version arrived a further order was placed by the Ministry of Defence to be built by Carmichael.

Well done Olavr, that's enough for the point - Carmichael and the two-door to four-door conversion.
For another point there is something worth contrasting with the Scottorn conversion we had a couple of days ago.

(I should not answer here...)

Yes, but the heading on the site dealing with the Scottorn said 6x4, but the text itself said 6x6. Confusing

I can see from the picture that the Scottorn is a true 6x6.
But on closer reading, the text says it is based on the Range Rover Commando 6x6. This car had two dors, and different companies converted them to 4 doors. This one is a convert to 4 doors.
The Carmichael TACR2a is a 4 door version from the beginning

I think the TACR2 was the four-door conversion on the two-door R/R and the TACR2a was the four-door from the beginning. I got confused, so Olavr's original answer, which was correct apart from that "a" got the point.

Should this one not be moved to SOLVED?
Yes.
Must have been a reason not to do so which I've long forgotten.
