Ultra, I have no doubt your score will surpass MPs prior to seasons end. Unfortunately for MP, he already blew it. It's panic time for him.

And what is it with everybody hiding their team choices? Golly geeze. It's the Ron Dennis In Training society.

Hey, how is the restaurant going? Have you been able to double revenue yet?

I'm sincerely sorry to hear that Ultra. The situation seemed well suited for you. As I alway say, "Next."

mpatrizio

I couldn't believe that the F1 Manager game would allow you to get top team driver for the first race.  It's never allowed it in all the years I've been playing.

That said, playing catch up is almost impossible.  You need some serious luck.

Which brings me to this weekend's "upgrade".  Those of you who are in the position to make a big upgrade, know what I mean.  The gap between the "haves" and the "have nots" will grow significanly this weekend.

The upgrade choice is key.  Ultra could jump us both if he makes the right choice.

Stephen M

Friday practice times are up, and I can actually afford to dump Kovalainen for Wurz and possibly "upgrade" a few positions. The money  penalty hit is big, though...so in a rare display of patience the Burrow Owls are holding steady for one more race before shaking things up.

Of course, there's 4+ weeks between Bahrain and Spain for me to second-guess this possibly ill-advised decision. ;D

Also note the rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.

mpatrizio

Well, I've made my choices....

I opted for a more conservative route.  If one of you gambles and wins, you could overtake me.

FWIW, I almost didn't do anything to upgrade from Hamilton to Kimi or Alonso after the race....

Perhaps that's what I did...    :lmao:

Otto Puzzell

Wow - I came away with zero points this weekend.  :(

Yay me!  ;D

Being Red Sox fans over at the Sterling Silver team, we are already trotting out the old familiar "Wait till next year...." mantra.    :(

Well, I guess I need to make a move or 2 (if the funds are there...) I am starting to lose positions!

I now have enough moolah to dump Kovalainen for Hamilton.

In other words, 'round about race 4 I will have upgraded my team to what EVERYONE ELSE started with.

Catchin' up is hard to do.  ;)

I did not start with Hamilton.  Those people who did banked on a Rookie and made out very well.  This is the best start any Rookie has ever had so I would say they got very lucky.  Season isn't over yet though.

I still can't figure out how F- could afford his upgrades.  I didn't have the cash to do any more than I did....

Well done!!!

It's definately on!!!

Muthajuggs is the Minardi of the AutoPuzzles league.

Minardi? Hell, I'm not even aiming that high! I quite literally could not possibly do any worse. In fact, I'm quite expecting to make it through the entire season with the same damn score. There is something to be said for this kind of consistancy: I suck.

To think I almost went with Kubica.

The real question will come down the road when deciding to back Ferrari or McLaren. I'm not even sure which drivers I want to eventually back. It's going to be a wild season.

Yeah but You and I are on pace to have enough money to be making any changes we want in the last 3 or 4 races, without limitation.  So it will come down to accurate prediction.

Friday's practice times are up, for those inclined to do some pre-race shuffling. Who knows WHAT is coming down the pipe?

The Burrow Owls, that's who.

Not to give away any team secrets or anything, but now would be A VERY ANNOYING TIME for Kovalainen to get his act together and finish ahead of Hamilton.  >:(

It's funny, we scored the exact same point total this race, with drastically different teams.    :o
