Here are 12 different cars: 12 different makers and 12 different formulae.
To get the points you must tell me at least the maker, the formula and the Fiat car the engine belongs to.

Some are very very easy  ;), so have a go, rookies!

Zero guesses from rookies... Time to promote it.

als15

Thanks for the "featured".
But it's unbelivable that still there are no guesses: at least a couple of them are incredibly easy!!!

Let's break the ice

Is no 2 a De Sanctis Formula Junior from 1959?
Duncan Rollo

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

als15

Thanks for being the first but, sorry, neither De Sanctis nor F. Junior.

#9 is a Dallara-Fiat Abarth 16v F393 Formula 3...

First half of the first point is your.  ;)
To get the point I need brand (Ok), Formula (Ok) and also Fiat model whose engine has been used. So, locked for you.

Aaron65

Oops!  One of these days I'll follow directions completely!  Did the engine come in a Fiat Tipo?

Yes! And so the first (full) point is your!  :applause:

#4 is a Signatech Formula Future Fiat with a 1.6 liter 16V FPT engine...I think (hope) this engine came in a Punto...

Correct again... unless the engine. I'll double-check if it's used also on the Punto, but Fiat promoted it as a Formula using the engine of the Fiat #####.

Aaron65

I'll throw in the Bravo, because I believe it uses a 1.6 as well...

als15

Not the Bravo, but the Fiat range in that country is not so big...

I think #11 is an Abarth SE 025 Formula Italia car, with an engine that typically went in Fiat 132s (?).

Once again correct car and formula, but the engine is older. Locked for you.

als15

You are closer... but still not.  ;) Which other Fiat car was fitted with the famouse "twin-cam"?

Aaron65

als15

#23
Let's consider it as a good answer. In fact it was the 124 Sport, fitted with the DOHC instead of the sedan's OHV.

Is #5 a Wainer Formula Junior, with an engine from a Fiat 1100?
