Let's say Romania

Allemano

Is that West Europe?

Not Romania.

Zanza

Could it be simply Germany  ???

Allemano

Zanza

Can't believe it  :D

I see there's not only one, but some of this same "T4".... So it ist endorsed by VW or not ? I mean did VW allowed this production ?

Allemano

I don't know if VW was officially involved.

Zanza

Are these vehicles made for disabled people ?

Does this long and ugly nose come for boasting a special engine, or is this thing moved by a standard Otto or Diesel engine ?

It's not propelled by an Otto or Diesel engine...

Zanza

Electric engine ?

BTW, because of the pic quality and the signals and headlights, I assume it's a model from 91 to 96 period

Allemano

Right time frame and yes, it is electric.

Zanza

VW did some elektric engined T4, called VW T4 Elektro Van.
There's even an official brochure of it, with 520 kg of Ni-CD cells in the back of the van.

But I suspect yours to have this special nose done to includ all the engine and cells in front of the vehicle....

Was it produced in Western Germany or in the former DDR ?

mister.jj

It's not the same base as T4 !

Allemano

The company was in Western Germany.

DeAutogids

Not that I'm know.

BTW: I have to correct my self. The car is a certain form of hybrid, using a Diesel and a electric engine.

Zanza

OK so I understand better the vast front hood, two motors are under ther....

No BMW parts I'm afraid.
This car is a mongrel from many car manufacturers and some VW parts are indeed used to built this van.

Does all the car parts involved coming from West Germany or at least Europa ?
