Solved: PN #250 -- Alfa Romeo 8C based "Backyard Bomb" with Glasspar body

For my 250th puzzle, here's something special. Please identify the donor (make, model) and the builder of this special

Based on 1936 Alfa Romeo 8c chassis 412002 ,modified in 1956 for Bob Hanley by Wynn Motors of Los Angeles,who shortened it by 8in ,put in a 6c2500 engine & put on a Glasspar body.
It was nicknamed "Backyard Bomb" when a photo of it was put in a local newspaper.
Long term Alfa enthusiast Simon Moore tracked down the remains of this special in the '80s & also the
original 8c Alfa body which had ended up on a Ford chassis with Jaguar power !
Over the intervening years it was restored to its original form.
