We've seen a variation of this before, but not this exact car. What is it, what was it based on and who made for a point please

Based on an Astra yes, locked for you for your next reply

Gill Getabout?
Based on a Astra and made by Anzani

It is a Gill, but not a Getabout (that would be a repost). This one has another name (just a generic name for the body style). Locked again for you

Well, I'm going to give you the point anyway for getting this far. This car was simply known as a Gill Saloon.

I'm pleased to award you your 20th point which means you are now an Expert! Congratulations, hopefully you will be able to pose some puzzles of your own now

Facel

Thank you!

Where I can find the explanation how It works to place new pictures/puzzles?

Here are a couple of photos showing the differences between the imaginatively-named Gill Saloon and the Gill Getabout, which was the coupe version.  Note both cars wear the same registration number UYV 5..!

The top car was, as far as I know, never built. Although it looks quite convincing it is just a re-touched picture of the Getabout. Only 5 Gills were built in total, I'm not sure how many were Getabouts and how many were Saloons but I wouldn't be surprised if the Saloon was unique.

Anyone got one hiding in their garage/barn/shed? Can I have it please?!

You could even have the Gill Saloon with another colour scheme and a smaller rear side window (as long as the background fence remains the same  :D )
