Again the base make is easy but this one was known by a specific name.
Identify that and a point will be yours.

Let's start with the obvious.  Based on a Triumph TR series sports car - A TR3A?

The body was a modified TR3A but the base car was a different model.

Left hand drive and the base make is easy.  Is it Chevrolet-based?

No, it's purely Triumph - a prototype that had a specific name (the base car was a TR4)

Yes I think it was but not to be confused with the TR3B.
Two prototypes were built and it carries a four letter code name (a letter of the Greek alphabet)
I'll lock it for you until your next reply to have another guess......

alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon, ...., omega (with chi, kappa, phi, pi, theta, and a few  others along the way.)

What the hades!  I'll guess at beta so "Triumph Beta prototype"?

That's the one!
The body had widened front and rear wings to fit the wider TR4 frame and a new grille was also featured.
One more point for you.
