I don't think we had this one before.

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

Wendax

No Rookie interest, so up it goes.

Carnival ride, not for street?

I thought so, as I think I have seen one or two at fall Hershey over the years.

Is it Italian?

One of these is one the Hemmings blog today, so it's too easy.  They call it the 1954 Ihle Schottenring

"Made in Germany 1954 by Ihle Bruchsal and imported to the major amusement parks in the States during the '50s and '60s. This is the all-steel body, bullet-nose type. Powered by a new Honda GX390 13hp electric start engine. Centrifugal clutch, hand throttle, single pedal that operates the rear drum brakes. Currently only one of these is on display at the Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum in GA."

If I'm right, I don't deserve a point.

You certainly found the car. It is an Ihle. I know that it is called Schottenring by some people, but I cannot see where this name comes from. It has a different name, related to its looks. Find that name and you'll get a (well-deserved) point. Locked for you.

There are a lot of web pages on these cars.  They certainly have a lot of fans.
The only name I see that I didn't have was "Autoskooter".

Is Autoskooter what you are looking for?

Wendax

No, the name refers to a car it tries to resemble.

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

Wendax

No, Noddy was unknown in Germany  :D

Yes, that's the manufacturer (Gebr. is German for Bros = Brothers). Bruchsal is the town where they had their company. I need the model designation though.
