Nicht schön, aber selten!

Apologize the fuzzy pic. I couldn't find any better so far.

Bohse Sprinter?

Allemano

No. You can easily see that the Sprinter is a different Bohse car.

Unlocked.

(oops, I was wrong)

The Bohse Sprinter was VW-Based and the Bohse Euro-Star was VAZ/Lada based.

The puzzle car is probably the original Bohse prototype, which was, as stated, VW-based, and constructed in 1987.  Bohse and VW could not come to an continued agreement, so Bohse went with Lada components instead.

That is all the information I can find on the puzzle car.  Unfortunately, I have yet to find a single picture of a Bohse with round headlights, as shown.

Yes, the story is more or less right so far but the car has a certain name which I need to award a point.

Yes! It's the VW Golf I based Bohse "Ems Blitz" from 1984.

I read it in an article... but didn't find any picture! Though I am pretty sure I saw this picture before.

Was it from Motor Kassik magazine around the beginning of the year?

No, it was in one of the recent issues of Auto-Bild-Klassik.

Thanks for your response! I must have seen the same magazine. I am French, but do live in Muenchen.

Germans love oldtimers and quite nice to see on Sundays all those old cars being driven around.
