Yes, it is, but it's not Ford-based.

It looks lile an 'evocation' to me.  Is it based on a 1960's chassis?

No.. much earlier chassis, although when the body was fitted I'm not sure..

The chassis/front suspension looks quite substantial and the car was probably a saloon originally.
I think a more expensive type of car than an Austin/Ford/Morris type.
Let's try Lea-Francis although one of our senior members would probably have guessed that......
