Perhaps we need an 'orphaned puzzles' section.  ;)
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

If the Rookies haven't got this one in nearly 6 months I would say it indicates they don't know it..
So maybe there's an Expert who's waiting to pounce on it?  Let's see...

Or someone who does know to assume ownership - not me as "I know notheeeng!"

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

It seems to be a Tiga GT286.  Essex Racing raced these for several years, with different engines.  This could be using a Chevrolet or Buick V6.

(There do seem to be a number of orphaned "Geraldo" puzzles)

Jotage is still around (his last post was on 8th November) so he's still in charge!

Not trying to steal your point, Moltogatto.  Just bumping another sad Jotage21 puzzle.

the site from where I took this picture is deactivated, so I lost the name. If you have a proof, please PM

Number plate seems to be Japanese...Gordon Spice, at the time the car stopped racing,  was probably out of business and had nothing to do with Tiga since he started building his own cars (1985/86) :)

Gordon Spice was still involved with customer Tiga's in 1985.

I just threw that out there, it wasnt ment to solve the puzzle as it already pretty much had been.......................... ::)

The car in the photo is a 1986 Tiga GT286 (chassis no.322) Buick V6 powered.
