What is this car, who built it, and what three marques made up the constituent parts ? I mean the leading car in the group.

It's a Moriat, originally built by Des Jenkin, leading a variety of MG specials at Roy Hesketh Circuit in the 1950s. The front suspension looks to be from a Peugeot, probably a 402, but as for the rest, despite lengthy research, I can find no answers. :(

I'm tempted to give you the point, but I'm going to be a curmudgeon. You've correctly identified the car, and there is information on a well-known website which can tell you which three marques made up the constituent parts of the car. No Peugeot involvement.

48 hours passed - unlocked.

I've just checked that my original source is still available on the usual sites, and it is. BTW Des Jenkin was the driver, not the constructor which is what I requested. It's quite easy to find, now you know what it is.

I just have to bump this one again - this is ridiculous. Come on Experts, this is the easiest point you'll ever earn. When you know the name of the car, what's the first thing you do? Well, I do, anyway.

(To be fair, the image which holds the answer does probably show the car in an earlier form, but the confirmation is all there. I want the constructor, and the 3 marques which made up the car).

I've found Morris and Ford so is the third donor a Fiat?

Morris and Fiat are correct, but my source quotes a different third marque. And who built it?

Is the missing donor MG? Was the constructor Gordon Henderson?

Yes! At last! The image with the answers was sitting there all along, but nobody else seemed to want the point. It's yours. Another interesting South African special.
