Alright, here goes another one.

It seems there's quite a few microcar lovers here, so let's see if this one is recognized.

1 point for correct answer.

I'd spotted your blog and another site of yours some time ago, and enjoy them a lot. In fact, I used some the pictures you're showing for some previous puzzles. Thanks.

While I think there are no more pictures of this car online, I'd like to ask maybe anyone has any word about Gitta's history.. I suppose that this car is a self-built one-off and has never been marketed..

pnegyesi

Quite so. It was created by  István Karika in 1958 and shown at the Budapest International Fair. Gitta was the name of his wife. It was powered by a 125 cc Csepel motorcycle engine. It remained a one-off.

A rear-view picture is available in the book, Magyar Autó - 2nd edition which has just been published and available through yours truly ;D

Allemano

If Gitta was the name of his wife it obviousely wasn't the biggest love...

pnegyesi

I just found a scanned version of the rear-view

There are two more pictures now available through the archives of MTI, the Hungarian newswire
