currently this brochure is to get at ebay:

This car actually a model name: Strada 4/88
It was powered by a 1600cc Ford engine.

Here's a factory brochure; sorry about the quality.
It was made in Saxmundham, Suffolk - just to get the spelling right!
The original puzzle car was photographed in nearby Aldeburgh, where they hold the music festival (it's where Benjamin Britten lived) and the work of art is a Henry Moore in the sculpture park there.

Is it rear- or mid-engined? If not, it would make for a very nice Strada Ranchero

......and a red one
Woodinsight, thanks for red car (this picture I have not seen before), and for you photo from my collection.

The correct heading title for this car should be 'Strada 4/88' with 4/88 being the model name.  The Strada was sold as a complete turn-key car only, and was never sold as a kit car.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.
