Looks like a Mercedes 28/95 of about 1922, but who the coachbuilder was, I can't guess.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Looks like a Benz 27/70 with a special Coupé de Ville body. Maybe Kühlstein/Berlin was the coachbuilder..

Neither Mercedes nor Benz. However, a Mercedes engine is under the hood / bonnet. The body was not by Kühlstein/Berlin.

Then it might be a saxonian "Elite S18 18/70 PS or a 18/96 PS Coupé de Ville", built in Brand-Erbisdorf from 1923-26 when they´ve changed to flat cooling masks again.

Hmmm, I was quite sure as Elite used engines that based on Mercedes design.

This will get hard.

Most ca.1919 luxury cars from Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia featured those "Spitzkühler" type of edgy cooling masks.

So let´s begin from the start:

Is it german?

Hi, this is a Joswin 25\75hp Town Car 1922 but the same model, in the Henry Ford Museum is called Sedance de Ville from 1920...

Did the subliminal clue help?  ;)

I had it saved as a 1925 Joswin 24 75 PS Town Car, as well.

It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

I now understand why this thread is posted.   Paul is even getting within 20 days or so of my current rank at the top of the leaders for most time spent on this site.

Keep it up, Paul.
