Who knows this car?

grobmotorix

No, but geographically you´ve hit the right country!

oko94

Is that a sketch for the rear-engined Skoda 932 prototype ?

grobmotorix

This make is by far more obscure than Skoda.

To name some facts:

40HP

2cyl.

Two-stroke engine

1000ccm

Central tube chassis

This includes Jawa... ;)

grobmotorix

Much more obscure guys, sorry...

grobmotorix

To fire this up a bit, here´s a photoshoped magazine clip from 1935 for you /
as far as I know there was at least one prototype:

grobmotorix

LOCKED for Majeko!

I´m deeply impressed...
Can you tell me name behind this project, I mean the person/company who has sponsored it?

Then this will be your point!

grobmotorix

Bata, the shoe king, yes!

Now this is your point!

Majeko

Too bad it wasn't built in significant numbers. It would have been an interesting match with the Beetle.

grobmotorix

Agreed...

I have only found one very tiny other photo of this car in the internet.

Does anybody have one to show here?

milos62

How did you come to connect with Tomas Bata?  ZLÍN? 9.9999 ČK?

grobmotorix

#19
Because the german text tells us that the shoe king Bata has financed the whole Myron project.

And the headline means: "Bata builds the cheapest car in the world".

An online source says, that it has been built at the Flugzeugmotorenfabrik (Aero-Engines works) Myron, Zlin between 1934 and 1935 in small numbers.

Just a drawing based on that tiny pic!

Right - I´d really like to know more about the rear engined car - if there ever was one...

Do you have a tiny pic of the puzzle car, then?

grobmotorix

No - it was so small I did not realize it was a front engined car -it is just  the same that you have posted in big scale.

This is why I´ve asked now.

Did this rear engined Myron model really exist?
