American V8 or Argentine Ford V8?
This car was made in Argentina, it belonged to a good friend that passed away a few years ago. It was seldom used and only seen at very few shows.
Argentine made Ford V8 engine, jaguar wheels, but I can't remember who made the body :-[

Paul Jaray

You are right...power came from a Ford F100.

Found it!  :yeah:

It is named VEGA GT.

QuoteJordan Vega (43), a panel beater from Bernal, built this Gran Turismo, based on the design of Norberto Solores and Hector Firpo. The chassis is a copy of Jaguar, suspension is independent on all four wheels. The car is 1.10 m high and wheelbase reaches 2.47 m. It has disc brakes on all four wheels. The engine chosen to drive it is a Ford F100, and the owner of the vehicle is Dante Geronimi. These who also helped to build are Hugo Salvia, Osvaldo Protasowicki, Mario Di Pietro and Francisco Pugliese.
