Not a yellow Dellow.

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

ATTENTION!
The editors are thinking about splitting the Professional board into a junior and a senior board, so that professionals with less than 400 points can have their chance, before the sharks and cannibals will have a bite. In order to test this idea, this puzzle is restricted to puzzlers with less than 400 points until further notice.

Someone listened!

DKW F5.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Too late...

DKW F5.
It is based on a DKW, but not a F5, and I need some information about its creation, as it is not a standard factory car.

Locked for you.

I have searched the internet for information on this car. There are a few other pictures from the an event which are featured on a blog, but nothing on the usual sites.

The only other image I can find says 1939 DKW F8 Reichsklasse cabriolet. I expect this is not what you are looking for!

That better, because it is based on a DKW F8, but that's not the whole story. Still locked for you.

nicanary

I can't find a thing - obviously this was rebodied by someone, and it wasn't Holka.

I though it was Frits Klijn, but he was the photographer!

Unlock it please.

oko, this puzzle is restricted to puzzlers with less than 400 points.

Unlocked.

Sorry, I didn't notice the new rule was applied to all your new puzzles. Gotta get some more popcorn !

nicanary

I will remain outside this puzzle (I saw his post!).

Well, his post was heading in the right direction, but not complete...

Several sites indicate it may have been built in 1949.

Wendax

That's correct. Now we just need to know who built it, and the puzzle is solved.

sixtee5cuda

Not the VEB factory in Zwickau?

Wendax

Let's put it this way: it was built at the factory, but not by the factory.

No, I am looking for a group of people. I don't need their single names.

nicanary

On one site where it is featured there are the words MSG Zwickau -  this appears to be a woman's handball team in the area! I expect they built it in their spare time.  ;D

MSG Zwickau is correct. Nothing to do with young ladies running around though.  :(
MSG stands for Motorsportgemeinschaft (motor sport community).
Four of these cars were built, but only raced in a few events in 1949.
One more point for you.
