I just found more info on this type of vehicle.  It turns out, there is a Japanese connection.  But this vehicle was truly built in Europe.

Well it has to be british then, based on a Japanese panel van

Yes, the base of this vehicle is a British version of a Japanese van

Bedford Midi based on the Isuzu van called the Fargo.

Is it this, if it is then there is one for sale on ebay.

Leisure Van Co Nirvana Concept 7-Seat Bedford Midi Late 1980s.

Found it when looking for the name of the Isuzu original van.

And the well-deserved point goes to wingroad.

Until this interesting vehicle came along, I didn't know there was a "Bedford Midi".  Until 3/4's of the way through the solution, I didn't know that vehicle was actually an "Isuzu Fargo".

Wendax

A nice attempt to make a dull Isuzu van look like the Pontiac Trans Sport.

Never heard of the  Nirvana before but the Bedford Midi was sold in Britain and Europe based on the Isuzu. Did not know that it was called Fargo.
