You are a tenacious resurrector of puzzles long-abandoned - good on you!

I reckon the Black Hole should only contain "unsolvable" puzzles (cars unknown by the poster himself and puzzles abandoned by inactive members). There are currently way too much puzzles in the hole.

Therefore, all solvable puzzles must be solved !
I agree!

I don't.
That would leave far too many old puzzles on the Pro's board.
The intention is to provide old puzzles with a place after they have spent a couple of years unsolved with the Pro's and it has always served its purpose well.  There's nothing to stop puzzlers solving puzzles which are there, as I'm pleased to see oko is doing - and getting 2 points for instead of just 1!

He appears to have graduated high school in 1965; the picture is from the same decade.

Was the picture shot between 1966 and 1969 ?

I don't know - the source is not that specific.

Correction - the picture could not have been taken in the 66-69 period.

The gicing spirit of the holiday has prompted me to afford an assist.

A crafty AutoPuzzler could, through judicious digging through the heap of Q & A and clues in this thread, construct a search leading to the solution. .

Remove one letter from his last name, and he'd share a name with a virtually unknown baseball pitcher for the  Chicago Cubs.

Has this pitcher played with the Chicago Cubs after WWII ?

Yes. (Don't forget, this is a car puzzle, not a baseball quiz)   ;)

I know, but I can't find the solution the classic way, so I'm trying the other one.

So, has this pitcher played with the Cubs before 1963 ?
