Well.  It seems that I'm finished with the Gründerjahre.  Going to the Wiederaufbau, but I'm afraid that the models described in Alexander Weber's book are a little bit later than the puzzle bus.  Anyway : SR ?

Well, I have the feeling that Alexander Weber list of MAN Omnibusse is incomplete.  Am I right ?

I don't know that list, but it seems he is missing out on some buses.

Its model designation has the pattern 123 ABC4 with 123 resp. 4 standing for any numerical digits and ABC for any letters.

FOC1 is correct. FOC stood for Frontmotor-Omnibus-Chassis. I'll have to look up the leading number which may take some time, as my laptop is in maintenance and I have to find the backup HD. But as I recall it is neither of the two numbers mentioned.

Good news, I just found another note where I put down the number, and it is not the one I had in mind. The solution is 530 FOC 1, and I give the point to Hiawatha, as he guessed 530 HOC 1 (after which I should have locked it for him) and 630 FOC 1.
The MAN FOC buses were mainly built for export.

I couldn't find any MAN 530 FOC1 on the Web.  The only 530 described is the 530 HOC 1 of Viajes Meliá bodied by Kässbohrer. And the 530 FOC1 doesn't appear in Alexander Weber's book "MAN Omnibusse". Strange.
BTW, do you have any info about where this one was exported, and which was the travel company ?

No, I took it from an old magazine clipping. No further information came with it. Bernd Regenberg's book about German postwar buses mentions several FOC1, but not the 530 FOC1.
