I found el_monty's above post on the News, Information and Feedback board so moved it here.
Since we'd already had 584 I suspect el_monty noticed that and clicked on 'Remove Post'.  Whilst that used to remove the post the Remove Topic and Remove Post buttons have been changed slightly to avoid accidental removals which are then lost forever and they now just move the post to the NIF board. 
I'll remove this post if you'd like me to but on the other hand it's not doing any harm where it is.  Since this is just a fun thread and nothing depends on it I'd just leave it there and we'll carry on with 585.

Good idea. I think the change in software may have been a reaction to me losing half the "Name Game" thread recently, thanks to a very thick finger.

Thanks for the info Carnut, that's exactly what happened, I didn't know that clicking on "Remove post" resulted in it being moved somewhere else. It's a good safety measure. Perhaps a special "Recycle bin" thread could be created for this function.
