Unfortunately if I give you the only really valuable hint I can provide, then this puzzle would be solved in about 5 seconds.

So I try with a slightly less helpful clue :) Apparently the company built motorcycles under a slightly different brand name

I really should have got this one as I live in the town where Ascot built their cars!
However as I wrote some years ago, the only photo of an Ascot I've seen is of a 1930 fabric-bodied six-light saloon with bolt-on wire wheels. I believe the first Ascot car was based on the Fejes, but although we've never seen what that looked like, this one doesn't seem likely to be it.
