Yes, indeed! Even here the info about is is very, very scarse! If ANYONE has any bit of info, I'd be eternally gratefull to who'd send it to me!

Aranhiço had a chassis Lotus and the mechanics of a MG TD.
The chassis resembled a Lótus Seven and it was frequently designated by MG - Lotus.
This was the work of Mário of Jesus and of its owner and  pilot Alberto Nunes of Carvalho.  Probably it had two very similar chassis.
The premiere happened on June 23, 1955, in the circuit of Monsanto, in the Sport cathegory up to 1500 cc, denominated "Governados Civil de Lisboa"'s cup.

sorry for the poor translation.

Joao Gois

You took that from the small box written on the unedited picture, from a Portuguese magazine, correct?

Paul Jaray

No, in that box there is only written the year, the circuit and the lotus-like design. I made a quick search on the web and found a forum where someone seems to know more than we do....

Joao Gois

Maybe you mean "AutoHoje Online" or "Rodas de Viriato"?

In the 1st I only found a list, the info came from another one, about the 2nd I don't even knew it!
But my source is very popular, if you google the subject of this topic, will be in the firsts positions.

I'm sorry if I did not tell you the source straight out, but there is THE RULE!
I can tell you that I can barely understand several languages (when the article is related to cars) but with lexicool or others online translator, it's quite easy.

Joao Gois

Yes, of course, I understand. Source secrecy is gold!  ;) I understand what you mean. When it comes to cars I usually advance more in foreign languages than in any other subject. And the online translators help a lot indeed!
