Correct so far.  I have it as 1959 but 1957 is equally plausible

What happens in this case?  Kitaharo had a puzzle locked for him in the rookie section and in the meantime he became an expert?

You can either unlock it and keep it in the Rookie section or you move it together with the lock to expert level.

He was a rookie when he answered and I locked it for a final detail, so I have ignored the anomaly and given him the point.

If you put in an extraneous word (in this case 'Citroen') then it wouldn't offer Whaddyacalit's original puzzle, so you'd get no results.
If you just put in '2CV Radar' it will come up.
The minimum number of words is always best, because the Serach looks for a complete match so if anything differs an original puzzle may not come up.
