Well, I guess I have to start working through them.  Peter Bauer?

This thing has the face of a 1949 - 1950 Oldsmobile!

sichel

Not by P. Bauer. No idea whether the bodywork manufacturer copied Oldmibile.

Yes! Now all that's missing is the year of manufacture.  ;)

B 2500 was introduced in 1954.  Some sources say that it was redesignated B 522 in 1959 and others say that the B 2500 name continued until the end of production in 1961.  Are we looking for a date within this range?

sichel

The area you mention (1954 - 1959) is correct. However, I am excluding the year of manufacture from the assessment. I have discovered inconsistencies in my source. So the task is hereby solved. BTW: All my sources cite 1959 as the year of the complete switch to three-digit 5xx (bonneted) and 6xx (front-wheel drive) type designations. Exception: the military variant B 2000 A/O 0.75 t gl, 1955 - 1961.
