Is the puzzle car based on a Lloyd?

pnegyesi

Bump and a question, is this by any chance the Lappionia?

The answer to this one was lost on my old laptop hard drive, so please be patient.  I don't recall it as an Edith or Lappionia, and I have a vague recollection that it is not Lloyd-based, only parked next to one.  It will take me a while to find my original information source, so please bare with me.  Thanks.

Now found some of my old information and can confirm that it has no Lloyd connection, and that it is not an Edith nor a Lappionia either.

As this puzzle was first posted seven years ago with no activity for the last four years, as a 'special offer' from now until the end of January 2017 I will offer double BH points (i.e. four!) to anyone who can correctly identify this car.  :)

Solving a 7-year old mystery in less than a week should be next to impossible  :o

Anyway, was this car built before 1970 ?

Nothing is impossible, as I had to get this photo from somewhere!

The fact it was made in New Zealand is a strong clue as well, but I'm happy to withdraw the offer of four points to help try and get this long-term puzzled solved if you prefer... ???
Yes, it was built before 1970. ;)

Let's keep the offer going, thank you  ;D

No, I found it in a mainstream car magazine.

As time is running out for my Four Points offer until the end of January, a clue to help...

This New Zealand-built puzzle car only had three wheels...  Good luck.

To the best of my (limited) knowledge, this car was not designed in the UK, although it did use some British components.

Was it based on an existing three-wheeler?
