You're still on the wrong track. Again, take a close look to the rear end, Isn't there a strange shape formed by the wire?
Further the entire appearance of that model should make you at least wonder considering the previous guesses...

I've stared and stared at that rear end but can't quite work out what shape it is..  A roll-bar?    I have been concentrating on the 1960's but just thought that Osca-Fiat seemed to fit the shape well..

I'll have one last go for the moment - could it be an ASA?
