Was it a Light Artillery Staff Car?

Wendax

No military use intended

woodinsight

Wendax

No, it is based on the 1,2 Liter or the 1,8 Liter, but has a name of its own

woodinsight

Not sure about this but was it based on an Opel Regent?

Wendax

I think, it is based on the ordinary 1,2 or 1,8 Liter

woodinsight

I searched for a name but only came up with Regent as the Laubfrosch was a much smaller-engined car.
Was this particular car destined for the Far East?
