If I give you a hint, this one will be solved in minutes (when my fellow AutoPuzzlers wake up). So let me just say this. When I said Poland, I was only partly correct.

Wendax

Was the town it was built in Polish, when the car was built, but isn't Polish nowadays?

guido66

Beckmann related?

The other way around - sort of. And it only applies to the coachbuilder

It is not Beckmann related

Wendax

Was the coachbuilder in a town that was German (Danzig/Gdansk included) and today is Polish?

pnegyesi

Yes, you even named the town. But I am mean and I won't lock it for you :)

Wendax

body by Danziger Karosseriefabrik?

pnegyesi

Yes, it's a Packard bodied by the Danziger Karosseriefabrik!

Congratulations

For one point: Name the make and the shop that gave it this look.

Only a correct, complete and specific answer will earn a point; tag-on's to other guesses will not. So, be specific and complete!

Uh-oh. I have it as a another brand, but from this same coachbuilder.

Wendax

You are right, I shouldn't have trusted my source blindly. It is obviously a Packard.

oko94

So should Wendax and I get half a point each ?

Wendax

Most probably a Packard Eight, Model 336.

I don't know the model for sure, so a point for both of you.
