Name and year of this one to gain a point please.

Oh, and I am almost tempted to deduct a point from the first person that says it's a .... , but I won't!
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Djetset

Very surprised that the Rookies didn't have a try at this one.  So, it's now up to you Experts!
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

DeAutogids

Is it, what we would politely call a "replica"?

Djetset

So pleased that you didn't fall into the inevitable trap, as it is indeed a 'replica.'
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

DeAutogids

Was it made in Britain? (I say was, as the picture looks a bit grainy)

It is indeed the German-built Tedesca Spider, based on an Alfa 75, so well done Woodinsight.

Autogids, just because the picture was grainy doesn't mean that the car must be British.  It doesn't rain here all the time you know and the sun is shinning brightly today!  ;D

Indeed, I haven't seen sun in at least a month. They should abolish November!

Not too many expert´s puzzles are left.

So I´ll start here with this bunch of five.

Who knows this car?

mekubb

Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider, but that's obvious. I assume there is something special about this car ?

grobmotorix

Yes - it is a 1990´s rebuilt edition by ???

Tedesca Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Replica

grobmotorix

"Carrozzeria Tedesca" is correct.

But it has a model name.

LOCKED for you!

ecurie

I've gone through my yearbooks and found it :

Tedesca Diva, build in Germany.

 :applause:
Yes, built in Ansbach and Würzburg, Bavaria.

Wendax

Although it is orthographically wrong, it has to be "Tedesca Carozzeria" with just one 'r'.

The 1993 Diva Spider had a fiberglass body on a tubular chassis, technical base were the two-liter Alfa Romeo transaxle models.

"Carozzeria Tedesca GmbH" was the company name. I´ve changed the superficious "r".

It had a Kevlar/carbon-fibre body!

And a second paper clipping from 1997 / I´d really like to know more about the mystherious city car project mentioned in the last sentences...

Does someone know how many where built and if there are some still running?

I'am thinking of writing an article about the Diva in our Alfa Romeo quarterly.

Anyone got more info or pictures?

Thnx in advance

I have scanned all I have and posted it here - no more information from my side...
