The Platt 50 seems to have been built in the Japanese town of Takeoka, where Toyota has a production facility, so could it have been made by an employee/subsidiary of Toyota?

I guess your Japanese is at last as good as mine, but Takeoka is the name I was after, not as the town,but the company somehow connected to it.
