I believe it is, yes.

Here's the answer!  Carroceria Sirio, Hernandez Bitter & Co.
Apparently it was one of the first buses to be built in Caracas.
Does that say "Sirio" or "Stylo"?

Carnut

I wondered that at first but this accompanied the post:

QUOTE
Carrocerías Sirio, Hernández Bitter & Co., uno de los primeros fabricantes de autobuses en #Caracas, montados bajo patente Triumph (1925)
UNQUOTE

I think that answers the question!

I think that answers the question!
The caption was typed by the person handling that Twitter account in 2019, and possibly lifted from 1960s author Guillermo Jose Schael, either of whom could have easily misread the stylized script of the 1920s advertisement. I'm still not convinced that this reads "Sirio" as opposed to "STYLO."

By the way, great job at finding this!

Carnut

Thanks; I'm not fully convinced either!
It does look like "Stylo" the more I look at it!

Very interesting, but..are we sure it is a Triumph chassis? The ad seems to imply that the body is
based on a Triumph patent, but there in no mention of the chassis make.
Just curious and well done Carnut.
PS
Sorry, Triumph chassis is  indeed mentioned.

Well found!! That's the one!

I wonder (doubt) if the licensed Triumph chassis was related to the British Triumph car and motorcycle maker as the only motor car it made in the mid-20s was the 10/20 which had a weak 1.4-litre engine and compact (by bus standards) platform, both of which seem very poorly suited to this application. Perhaps we will never know...  ???

Thanks!
Is it really Carroceria Sirio though or is it Stylo?
Looking hard at it, it seems more like it says 'Stylo' than 'Sirio'?

Well, It looks like "Stylo", but the only reference found says "Sirio". Maybe Hernández Bitter's family has its origins in Syria (Siria in Spanish). Anyway, I don't know for sure
