Just a little update from the boiler room. The forum software is brutally outdated so it took a bit of an effort to find someone who'd be wiling to update it. A year ago somebody came, then saw the task and bailed. Now we have another candidate and hopefully he'll do what's necessary. It will mean a more stable forum for you and less headache for my brother, who can finally move autopuzzles from an old server to a new one!

On the other hand, the profile pictures seem to have disappeared, yet when I check the settings, mine is saved.

I'm sure it will be a huge improvement once all the bugs are sorted out (e.g. can't see any points totals...)
The pictures take a little while to appear but exercise a bit of patience and they do come.

However, when I tried to log in it says I wasn't allowed access to that page... A bit odd, since I'm an Editor I should have access to everything...

But with technology nothing works perfectly straight off so I'm sure in time we'll all be very happy that you've managed to sort this out.

Some not so good news.

This forum runs on Simple Machines Forum (SMF). It was a decade out of date and an update was absolutely, absolutely necessary because it was impossible to maintain the old version.
Unfortunately the new version of SMF discarded the Karma point system which we used to add points. There is a possibility to add it back, but we have to do it manually. So for a few days, please bear with us, make note of who's deserving a point and please be a bit more patient.
