It took me a long time for finding an Alfa 168 with a readable licence plate from Hong Kong (or Malaysia or Singapore). Although a not very well known story, it can easily be found on the internet (e.g. Wikipedia)

I thought the Audi would have been the easiest one.  You recognize it by the lights in the bumper.

This 133 is actually a Fiat and not a Seat.  But for the math, it doesn't matter.  Style wise, it's a mix of a 126 and a 127.

The Peugeot 204 only differs from it's brother, the 304, by it's shorter lower nose.

The Oldsmobile is a simple Ninety-Eight but I know that for us Europeans the American cars from the Seventies are hard to identify because they all look a bit the same.

The VAZ 2131 is a NIVA (2121) but with 5 doors.  It is clearly visible on the picture that it is a 5 door car, but you need to pay some attention to it.  It also took me some time to find a pic of the car under this angle.

Great puzzle!

Thanks PJ, I'm happy you liked it, but I never thought it would be that hard to solve!
Doesn't it looks easy, once you know the result?

:censored: I never gave the Niva a 2nd thought, that's the only one I had wrong on my 2nd guess  :ranton:

Glad I could be of help, Paul!   ;D

Fantastic Puzzle! Congratulations to 75america and Paul Jaray! :)

Great puzzle, indeed  ;D I was hesitating with the Audi (100/200/5000) but I'd never thought of the Alfa Romeo being something else than 164  :-[ ...

Argh...I was absolutely sure Audi was just a 100, but tried different variants. Is it really a 5000? I mean, that one had a different front. I'm asking just for the record :)
Congratulation to PJ for finally solving this one.

These are the variants I've tried:
#1 - Alfa Romeo 164, 168.
#2 - Audi 100, 500, 5000, FAW HongQi 7220 (Audi P44 and 400 were also in queue).
#3 - Fiat 127, Seat/Fiat 133.
#4 - Peugeot 204 Break, 304 Break.
#5 - Cadillac Fleetwood 60, Fleetwood 75, Calais Series 682, Oldsmobile 98.
#6 - VAZ 2131 (also tried 2121 just to check :P ).

Paul Jaray

My guesses were
#1 - Alfa 164 and lately 168
#2 - Audi 100 200 4000 5000
#3 - Fiat 127 but then 133
#4 - Peugeot 204
#5 - Oldsmobile 88 - 98
#6 - Vaz 2121 and lately 2131

Allemano

I wasn't so bad:

#1 Alfa 164
#2 Audi 5000
#3 Fiat 133
#4 Peugeot 204
#5 :censored:
#6 Lada 4 x 4 (=16)  ;D

Exactly my dilemma.  I dismissed the Audi as a 5000 because it didn't have alloy wheels but have never ever heard of an Alfa 168 so never even looked into it!  The others I think I got right apart from the Oldsmobile.. and I even Googled Oldsmobile 98 in...

That puzzle was a lot of fun!
