Huumm...I found several sources (and videos) and even the "schauinsland-klassik" entry-list calls it Schindler Spyder from 1970.
Another collection of pictures has it under the "wankel" tag, but can such a beauty be powered by a NSU engine?

I could, but it isn't a NSU in the back. The voice coming from the off in one of the videos says what it is...

It was indeed based on a VW 1300.
