Solved - MJW #1134 - W.E.V. Stan Goldthorpe at Silverstone 1962

There was a Formula 1200/1300 car called a WEV/W.E.V. so perhaps that's what it is.
What ever happened to that useful Ford Specials website, where we could check things like this??

I think we've got it between us, Nicanary, as I did a search for "Stan Goldthorpe" and found the same photo with the caption
AXO 862 chasing Stan Goldthorpe in the WEV (worms eye view)at the Trio meeting at Silverstone in 1962.
Assuming the writer knew his stuff, that would be the answer.

I got the name Graham Gant from, of all places, a certain forum of which we are both members. No names, no pack drill. A thread on that site concerns one-off specials, and mentions Stan Goldthorpe's WEV, but goes on to claim that it was one of a short series of one-offs built by the Gants, mainly Graham. So I suspect that this WEV was built by Gant, driven by Goldthorpe.

It is a W.E.V. (Worm's Eye View) driven by Stan Goldthorpe at Silverstone in 1962. I believe the car was constructed by Graham Gant and it ran in the Formula 1200/1300 class.
